ARCADE only works in 64-bit mode at the moment. Please make sure you're using the 64-bit version of your DAW as this is the one that our plugins are optimized for.
- This freeware instrument is compatible with all VST and AU plugin host applications on 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows and Mac OS. License You can use the software provided on this page free of charge, in both free and commercial audio and video projects.
- Jun 05, 2019 32-bit plug-ins on 64-bit Windows: C:Program Files (x86)Common FilesVST2. Any other folder your VST host application is scanning during startup by default is also suitable. But, to keep plug-in installations independent from a specific VST host release, never install plug-ins into the program folder of the VST host application or any other.
The following systems aren’t currently compatible with Arcade:
But then, how to distinguish 32-bit from 64-bit VST plugins? They seem to be installed in the same place. Even if it's unlikely, a user might have an old DAW in 32-bit, and another one in 64-bit, and thus, he might be interested to use both 32 and 64-bit plugins. Both 32-bit and 64-bit applications will install and run on Intel-based OS X. The default OS X folder for VST plug-ins ('.PluginName.vst') is located here:.
- Cubase 8 (32-bit) (PC: VST, VST3).
- Pro Tools 10
- Ableton Live 9 (32-bit)
- Logic Express (32-bit)
- AKAI Hardware
- iOS (iPad and/or iPhone)
- Chromebook
- Magix Music Maker
- Mixcraft 7 (32-bit)
If you're running a 64-bit DAW, try re-scanning your plugins inside your DAW and see if you can locate ARCADE.
How To Re-Scan My Plugins:
Logic Pro:
- Open Logic Pro X > Preferences > Plug-In Manager.
- In the Plug-in Manager, locate the Arcade. To filter by manufacturer, click Output in the left column.
- If 'failed validation' appears in the Compatibility column for Arcade, highlight Arcade then click Reset & Rescan Selection.
Reason (Mac):
- Please go to the User Library folder which is hidden by default.
- Press the Option key while selecting Go from the menu in Finder, and then select Library.
- Next, head to this destination, 'Application Support/Propellerhead Software/Reason/Caches' and delete the following files:
- _PluginCache.dat
- _PluginDatabase.dat
- Next, delete the 'Reason Plugin Folders.prf' file in the 'Preferences' folder in the User Library folder.
- This will force Reason to completely rescan the default VST folders and show ARCADE when you next launch Reason.
FL Studio (Mac):
- Open Fl Studio.
- Click 'Add' and select 'Manage Plugins'.
- Next, click 'Start Scan' on the top left of the Plugin Manager window.

- After this, please open Garageband and check if you can see ARCADE inside your Audio Units instruments menu.
Studio One (Mac):

- /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/Arcade
- /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/Arcade
- Check Scan at startup.
- Click on Reset Blacklist and when prompted click Yes.
- Click OK and restart Studio One.
Ableton Live 9: (Mac and PC)
ARCADE doesn't support 32-bit systems on MacOS + PC, and it's likely the reason that you can't see ARCADE in Live 9.
Please try scanning your plugins and also make sure you're running a 64-bit version of Ableton Live, which may require an update. To determine if you're running a 64-bit application you can use the following steps:
- Type the following keyboard shortcut Command ⌘ + Space bar to launch Spotlight.
- Type System Information and hit Enter when it shows up.
- Scroll down to the Software section in System Information.
- Click Applications and wait for your applications to load.
- The column to the far right in the Applications table will give you a simple, 'Yes' or 'No' answer as to whether or not your app is 64-bit.
If your copy of Live 9 is not 64-bit then that is the reason you can't see it in your DAW.
